Club Run to Farndale

Looks like we may need a bigger room if everyone turns up at club night, the influx of new members on Friday was brilliant and most of them turned out for the run on Sunday.
Every one turned up early and very keen to see all the daffodils. There were twelve cars at the start which is nearly a record with Mark and Mandy supplying an excellent route plan even Pat and I couldn’t get lost!
The first part of the run in sunshine took us to a delightful coffee shop in Kildale, with such a good turn out we filled the café much to the delight of the staff who were really pleasant.
While we were in there the rain came but not heavy enough to dampen the spirits of the topless drivers. Arriving at Farndale most people took advantage of the nice weather to walk along side of the river and hoped to take hundreds of photos of the daffodils. Well maybe next time.
A great day out was enjoyed by all with good company and reasonable weather the club is looking healthy in respect of membership and hopefully new ideas for the committee. Dont forget the AGM next month, put yourself forward and help improve a great club.
